EXAMINATIN AND PROMOTION

  1. There will be three Examinations during the year, namely First Terminal Examination, Second Terminal Examination and Final Examination.
  2. Besides these three Examinations, Monthly Tests and other Tests will be conducted during the year.
  3. No one is allowed in the Examination Hall without the Admit card.
  4. Promotion will be given on the basis of the result of the examinations and performance during the year.
  5. Result once declared will not be reconsidered.
  6. No student will be allowed to sit for the Final Examination if his/her attendance during the year is below 80%.
  7. A student who fails in the same class for two consecutive years will not be allowed to continue in the school.
  8. A student who is absent from any Examinations without grave reason will be considered as having failed.
  9. Progress report will be given after every terminal test. They are to be signed by parents / guardians, Parents of the Nursery students will collect the progress report directly from the School Office.
  10. Pupils found with book, note, copying or using unfair means at the examination will not be allowed to continue the exams and will be considered as having failed. Transfer Certificate will be issued to those using unfair means at the end of the academic year whether the student pass or fail.
  11. Answer script of First, Second Terminal Examination may be sent to the parents /guardians of the students to check their progress and they should be returned next day. However, no corrections and tampering with mark in the answer scripts are permitted. Answer papers of the final examination will not be available for inspection by students/parents/guardians.

ABSENCE AND LEAVE

  1. Leave will be granted only on written request by parents/guardians.
  2. Reason for leave is to be given while applying for leave and the of the school.
  3. Absence due to illness from the school for more than 3 days should be supported by a medical certificate medical prescription.
  4. Students who are absent from school without permission of the school authority for 10 consecutive days or more will have their name struck off from the roll.

RULES OF DISCIPLINE: Discipline has no holidays

  1. Every student must have a copy of the school calendar which should be brought to school daily
  2. Student should greet their teachers wherever they meet them.
  3. Late comers must get proper entries made in the Late Arriva Section of the diary before entering the class room
  4. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience to teachers and objectionable behavior to the good tone of the school are sufficient reasons for dismissal from the school.
  5. No Books, Newspapers or Periodicals other than Text Books and Library Books should be brought to the school.
  6. Chewing pan, tobacco, tamul, talab, supari drinking intoxicants use of drugs, and smoking are strictly prohibited inside school campus. Offenders are liable to be dismissed without any prior warning.
  7. The principal may dismiss a student whose diligence in studies in steady unsatisfactory, whose conduct is harmful to others or whose Parents/Guardians show little or no interest in the student's progress.
  8. To acquire a greater facility in the learning of English, only English should be spoken in the school premises
  9. Students should be clean, their hair well-groomed and neatly dressed in the Uniform.
  10. Running, playing or shouting inside the school building is not allowed
  11. Students should not scribble/draw on the benches and desks Any damage done to school property must be made good by the students concerned. If the offender is not discovered, collective fine may be imposed upon the entire class. The decision of the Principal /H.M. regarding the amount to be paid is final.
  12. No student is allowed to remain in the classroom during drill recess period. Students from one class are not permitted to enter another class.
  13. All should take an honest pride in keeping their school clean. Be very careful not to litter the floor, the compound and roadside with paper.
  14. Students must use their own materials and are themselves responsible for them. The school does not accept responsibility, for loss of books, pen, money, cycle and so on. It is not advisable for the students to have large sum of money or valuable articles with them.
  15. The lost and found articles must be submitted to H.M.'s office The owner could claim it by giving the identity of the object.
  16. No unions or organizations by the students are permitted.
  17. Students must be in the school premises 10 minutes before the class time.
  18. Participation in common activities is compulsory for all he students.
  19. Parents Guardians are not allowed to see their wards or meet the teachers during school hours without the permission from Principal/Headmistress.
  20. Parents found threatening and /or manhandling the staff or other's children in the school, no matter what the fault may be, will find their own children expelled from the school.
  21. Student found forging signature of their parents/ guardians will be suspended or dismissed.
  22. Students are not allowed to go for any picnic or excursion of their own in the name of the school.
  23. A students, who was issued T.C. from the school once is not eligible for re-admission.
  24. When students happen to quarrel or fight in the campus school premises, then matter must be immediately reported to the Principal / Headmistress.
  25. The school shall not be responsible for the activities indulged by the students outside the school campus.

MOBILE PHONE

Students are-not allowed to bring or use Mobile Phone, camera and other electronic devices in the School Campus. In case a student is caught bringing or using such devices in the School Camous. the devices will be confiscated, and student will be suspended expelled without warning

RECOMMENDATIONS TO PARENTS

Parents/guardians are requested to co-operate with the school authorities:

  1. By seeing that their wards reach the school premises 10 minutes before the class time.
  2. By inculcating in their wards. the habit of regularity punctuality. and
  3. By seeing that their wards are diligent at their homework and lessons.
  4. By seeing that the assigned works given by teachers are done diligently by the students.
  5. By insisting on their wards about neatness and cleanliness of uniform, textbooks, exercise books and personal appearance.
  6. By checking the school diary daily or at least on a weekly basis.
  7. Inculcate the value of time in your children.
  8. Develop in the child self-confidence to face unfamiliar situations.
  9. If the child has any defect, peculiar habits etc. notify it to the teacher.
  10. Never support your child when he / she has done bad things or any mistake.
  11. Attend the meeting of the Parents and Teachers when called for.
  12. Meet the Principal/ Headmistress / Class Teacher to discuss the progress in studies, character and discipline of your ward make appointment to meet them, in order to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.
  13. Whenever a notice is sent to you by the Principal / H.M. / Class teacher respond to it positively. It is for the welfare of your child

LABORATORY

  1. Strict discipline and order should be maintained in the \ laboratory room.
  2. Students are requested to take utmost care while handling the room. science equipment’s provided by the school.
  3. NO student will try to perform any experiment without the assistance of the science teacher.
  4. Any damage /breakage of an instrument should be reported to the Headmistress/ Principal at least at the end of the class.
  5. No student will remove or alter any equipment without the acknowledgment of the teacher concerned.
  6. Laboratory items are due property of the school. No one should steal them. If one is caught in the act, is liable to be dismissed.

LIBRARY RULES

  1. There should be perfect silence in the Library, the books and magazines are to be handled with utmost care.
  2. Students of a particular class should visit the library only on the days allotted by the school authority and not at any time.
  3. Magazines and reference books are not allowed to be taken out of the library.
  4. Only one book will be issued at a time.
  5. A book can be taken for a period of one week only. But if anyone wishes to keep it longer, he/she should bring the book to the library on the due date and should renew it for another week failing which a fine will be imposed by the librarian at the rate of Rs. 10/- per day after the due date.
